Thanks for your replies regarding my truncated video problem. The problem is not a result of exceeding a length or storage limit. I know that because I other videos have been either longer or fatter (in mbs). This is a quirk, imo, that may be related to the security system used by youtube.
On the other hand, I may have great video editing software that slipped my mind: J and image3 or platimg. The trouble shooting guide said I need to add a few frames at the end and that may not be too difficult even though the file is about 38mb because I am uploading in a .mov format, I think. Otoh, my understanding of image3 is that it is video-only and the upload is also audio. And file headers could be a problem. I am still studying alternatives.
