Don; Some quick thoughts based as much on my long (and far from complete) learning curve.
a.) Assignment ... x=: I feel is far more general for beginners b.) Names .. Verb & Adverb are more easily comprehended than Function & Function (At least for English speaking students). c.) You appear to be hypnotized by 'tacit' ... forget it for the early stages. d.)Your use of Gr, Lr, Ge, Le .. et all, are a distraction. Mature (read older) teachers may need that sort of hand holding ... students don't.
