Sorry, that was a bad example. There are (munged) APL chars in first
block of code, but no quads.

But can you see all the APL chars correctly?

An example with quads as-such is:

...big block of code near bottom, has line:
     ∇ r←Esme cards;sv;ta;tb;tc;td;pc;cd;diff;dc;⎕IO;⎕ML
...that line should finish with {quad}IO;{quad}ML
