Sorry, that was a bad example. There are (munged) APL chars in first block of code, but no quads.
But can you see all the APL chars correctly? An example with quads as-such is: http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/Doc/Articles/Play194 ...big block of code near bottom, has line: ∇ r←Esme cards;sv;ta;tb;tc;td;pc;cd;diff;dc;⎕IO;⎕ML ...that line should finish with {quad}IO;{quad}ML Ian Clark On Sat, May 23, 2009 at 6:53 AM, Devon McCormick <[email protected]> wrote: > Ian - > > the page looks OK to me but I don't see where there's supposed to be a quad. > > Devon > > On Sat, May 23, 2009 at 1:10 AM, Ian Clark <[email protected]>wrote: > >> Only just noticed that (some) APL chars are not showing correctly on >> my Mac with the APWJ pages, eg in >> http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/Doc/Articles/Play223 >> notably "quad", which shows as '?'. >> >> The correct unicode (utf-8) char-codes are there, because I can >> copy/paste the offending code from the page into TextEdit, set the >> font to APL385 Unicode, and I then see the correct chars. >> >> Am I the only person with this problem? >> >> I'd guess that MoinMoin is set up to specify certain fonts for its >> code styles, eg <tt class='backtick' ... and these fonts (including >> JSans, maybe?) do not have the APL charset properly represented. >> >> Could it be possible for these code styles to opt to use APL385 >> Unicode if it's installed?
