Gosi: > Searching for remove blanks > will probably give you what you want Yes, but that still means anyone who thinks of "removing blanks" as "trimming whitespace" is left in the lurch. This problem has arisen before. At NYCJUG we considered copying VB's index (The relevant entries) and linking them appropriately in the J universe. In the Forums, somone once suggested "tag clouds", an idea I liked. However, IIRC, someone else, with library science experience, responded that user-defined indicies usually make the problem worse. There has to be a decent solution for this. How do other languages do it? I know for Perl, my searchable index was IRC (though it was a bit cranky and snarky). Perhaps these Forums are our searchable index. I imagine most "serious" Jers will join them. -Dan ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
