A relatively easy way is to generate a KWOC (Key Word Out of Context) index out of all the existing J documentation. The search tool then only has to sort entries by the number of matching query words, and you'll find a very convenient index across all the current (and future) documentation. Further, if "trim" isn't already in the docs, then adding user- contributed tagging on top of the docs (say, with Diigo?) makes the search even better. How to generate the KWOC index?
