Unless there is a compelling reason not to do so, I think the debug
icons should be made about twice as large so as to make them easily
readable.
As they call for rather more complex actions than, say, choosing bold or
italic for text, it is all the more important to make them instantly
recognizable.
Ideally, as with text size defaults, there should be a size range.
Lacking that, larger would be better than simply tiny.
