I don't see how the amount of information in the button images
relate to their size.

Another question is that choice of pictograms.
For, example, Run, Step Into, Step Over and Step Out are intuitive.

Run to Cursor and Cut Back are not intuitive.
The former can be replaced with an arrow pointing at a caret.
The latter would probably work as long as I learn
or recall what cut back is. Etc.

So it's not the size, its the appropriate choice of symbols and
familiarity.
