thanks Don and Ian

i.1e6,  i.1e7  , i.1e8      in any program line will depending on the machine
used yield  'oom'  (out of memory) errors

there are a great many slowly converging series in mathematics, that benefit
from the amazing speed of J and its good accuracy.

I need to learn how to do     'for n=1 to m   ..    next  n'     (or for n=0 to
m.....next n)  loops that are child's play in BASIC or Assembly, etc languages.

But I am 'academically' interested what brute force would do with big modern
gaming machines with lots and lots of amazing RAM.
