Unless YOU can get a dispensation from Steve Jobs himself, it ain't gonna happen! Apple very deliberately prohibits general programming on these products because it wants a slice of the action (that is, control) when it comes to "apps". So, my plea: Please don't take out your frustrations on us J folks (I'm a relative newbie, too)--take them out on Apple!
