Yes, but this is not for a company project. This is actually for JDB. I'm 
thinking of building a .NET  data provider which includes handling the network 
connection. I already did some work here:

Options for network middleware are:
1. .NET remoting
2. ICE
3. Apache ActiveMQ
4. ???

The last time I checked, ICE offers dual licenses. Buying a commercial
license from them should be an option if your company really depends
on ICE+C#.
