  Thanks for the patch! I've applied it:

     http://www.0x50.org/bugs/changeset/263

  However, there was nothing wrong in that function. I still believe
  that it's a gcc/binutil problem rather than a code bug. This
  morning, I compiled the original tarball a couple of time without
  any problem. In fact, http;//www.0x50.org is running with it. :-)
