I have detected this odd behaviour in my server for a couple of
times this week. It is really driving my crazy; it is really
  difficult to reproduce.

Currently, I'm trying to write down a few python scripts to help me
to reproduce the problem by stressing the server for long periods of
time. I hope it will help..
