The final target is to allow Fedora users to install an updated version of Cherokee in a easy and reliable way. Of course, it's much easier when the packages are integrated within the main distribution package set. Anyway, I must confess I don't know much about how the Fedora community works. So, I wouldn't know what do reply to your question, actually. Is it worth maintaining packages outside? Is it possible to put that work in the main distro package?
