I agree with you;

For me the admin interface is only on when I needed, and actually apart 
from the actual configuration file has nothing to do with the running 
webserver.

I think things are 'hit' this rule, are trivially simple to implement. 
But I guess the actual 'if (logging) then' part is what we should worry 
about.
