Cherokee doesn't depend on anything. In case MySQL or FFMpeg weren't available, the modules wouldn't be compiled. In case you tried to use the streaming plug-in in a OSX system without FFMpeg library, the server would only fail then the server actually used the library (as soon as you changed your configuration, it'd be working again). You've got a point though. For me the questions should be: Do we want to ship a copy of FFMpeg/GeoIP/MySQL client with the server binary package? Would it be better to skip those three modules from the package? -- Octality http://www.octality.com/ _______________________________________________ Cherokee mailing list [email protected] http://lists.octality.com/listinfo/cherokee
