Interesting... in my system the results of -b (without argument, that means ALL) are: sudo netstat -alnp | grep che tcp 0 0 :::9090 :::* LISTEN 2831/cherokee-admin And with -b0.0.0.0 the results are: sudo netstat -alnp | grep che tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:9090 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 2962/cherokee-admin Both cases work as expected (I can access the interface using the public IP). That's Fedora 12 with 2.6.32.11. > [...] > > Excuse me for the obvious question: are you using 'localhost' > or > '127.0.0.1'? > > If you're using 127.0.0.1 we can discard the resolv > interference. > > > Obvious questions are often the best! But I tried sudo cherokee-admin > -b127.0.0.1 but it doesn't work: Another obvious questions would be asking for your firewall configuration :) Cheers, Juanjo -- jjm's home: http://www.usebox.net/jjm/ blackshell: http://blackshell.usebox.net/ ramble on: http://rambleon.usebox.net/ _______________________________________________ Cherokee mailing list [email protected] http://lists.octality.com/listinfo/cherokee
