Alternatively you can try Django internal web server and use Cherokee
HTTP proxy. In that way the application will use just one process. If
you have low traffic, that may work too.

One caveat, I've read that the Django internal HTTP server is not meant for production scenarios. However this could work if you don't have heavy traffic. :)

If you're using the uWSGI setup, you can limit the number of WSGI
processes:
