I did some more tests and figured out, that it is a very difficult and
special issue.

I could not reproduce this error on x86 (with VirtualBox). So it's no
(general) debian or fcgi error.
It's really great, both (drupal and redmine) works with fcgi out of
the box in y86 and error log files are working. (They were empty on my
arm machine)

It must be some error that has to do something that is special on the
arm architecture and I'm finally out here. I've got really no idea
howto track this down.

I know that cherokee had some special errors on arm in the past,
because I tried to install it a few month ago and it didn't work. It
didn't start. I had to take the newer packages from debian unstable,
then cherokee was able to start, but I didn't tested more but decided
to wait and try again later (today)

e.g. http://code.google.com/p/cherokee/issues/detail?id=805
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=578739

I don't know what the issue was but maybe this is some of the same kind.

I really want to get cherokee working!

Should I just fill a bug about this or can I do something else?
