Hi,

I just installed cherokee 1.2.2 (latest in official repository) on my
debian (testing) server (amd64).
I server most/all of the web pages over SSL.
Some other already reported that only blank pages are returned, when
using SSL. The problem is similar.
On my poweradmin (https://www.poweradmin.org/trac/), when I want to get
a bigger page with lots of fields, cherokee only returns a blank or
incomplete page.
This only happens when using SSL. In plain HTTP the whole correct page
is returned.
In wireshark I see cherokee sending an encrypted tls alert, then
reseting the TCP connection.
Now when I refresh the page in the web browser, the page is still never
sent completely, but instead I get memory dumps of cherokee at the end
of the pages,
Here is a partial example :

HeIHeILL_SOFTWARECherokee/1.2.2 (Debian
GNU/Linux)8&SERVER_SIGNATURE
Cherokee Web Server
GATEWAY_INTERFACECGI/1.1#PATH/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin'
DOCUMENT_ROOT/var/www/

The dumped memory becomes different when other pages are browsed in
between. Sometimes even complete pages from other vservers are returned.

This bug also exists in 1.2.98. I installed the ubuntu packages on the
debian machine.
I can always reproduce it. I works best with poweradmin. For privacy
reasons I will not sent straces on the ml.
No error is reported is the logs (web.log, cherokee.log, cherokee.error).

Regards,
Kevin
