what makes you think its not the gauge or sending unit. i had a mustang that
did that. turned out to be either a poor ground or a bad sending unit. why
don't you hook up a manual oil gauge and eliminate all the external
possibilities? also is this when car is being driven or when it is sitting?
the mustang would drop to zero and then when I'd rev motor it would go back
up and stay.
