Thought I'd jump in here, having owned a 64 Camino nearly all its life. When
El Caminos were reintroduced in 1964 they were in the Chevelle line, having
been taken from the Chevelle Station Wagon(note the plate in the bed covering
the foot space that normally is in conjuction with the back seat in a
Chevelle Wagon). Since 64 the chevelle script has always been on front
fenders. Many parts are interchangeable with its Chevelle car counterpart,
front clip etc.and some of  the rear parts interchange with the wagons
parts, tail lights, bumper etc. Anyway this is case with 64-65.

The 59-60 models were built on Standard large Wagon Platform.
