Replies to this message are sent to The Chevelle Mailing List ------------------------------------------------------------ Since I'm about to get my '69 back from the body shop with an excellant paint job, I'm wondering about ways to preserve the paint surface. Fender covers are one way to help. Do you guys have any suggestions? I've always thought that a high quality cotton/terry cloth type of towel would work well. And it would be easy to sew on some velcro to the towel, and hide the other side of the velcro up under the fender. This would help eliminate the problem of it sliding off.
