Rich,
We put the July/Aug issue of Chevelle World in the mail just last week, so
they should be arriving in y'alls mailboxes within a week or two (bulk
mail). The reason for the delay is because we hold off to include
Chevell-abration coverage in that issue. Normally, each issue is mailed by
the first week of the first month covered (ie: Jan/Feb goes out the first
week of Jan), but because we have to wait on our photos(slides actually,
for the four-color separations) for a week after CB'01, then about the time
we get things sorted out, we leave for the Northeast Regional in Maryland,
return from there and get back to thrashing that issue together.
The Summer schedule is pretty tight, Rich, but we try to keep things pretty
much on track. I realize that y'all look forward to getting your Chevelle
World magazines, but the wait will be worth it, whether you were able to
attend CB'01 in person or not! Lots of color photos and extensive coverage
of the world's greatest Chevelle event.
The Sept/Oct issue shoudl be back on schedule, Rich. Sorry for any anxiety
this may have caused anyone, but most ACES Members who've been with us a
while know that issue always runs about 3 weeks behind schedule. We just
got back from CA last night, where we attended the Southwest Regional in
Long Beach. The Southern California Chevelle Camino Club put on one heck
of a show, with nearly 200 of the finest Chevelles and El Caminos on the
West Coast in attendance. Jeff Angerstein brought his '68 all the way down
from Oregon to join in the festivities, and there were over 20 '64-5
two-door wagons there as well. Great show, great people, great location,
and great weather!!! If you missed it, well, all I can say is you better
make plans to attend next year's blast.
Alright, time for me to get back to work on the next issue, since we'llbe
leaving soon again for the Midwest Regional in Kansas City the weeknd of
August 9-11, then out to Seattle the very next weekend for the Northwest
Regional in Seattle, Washington. Whew!
