You got my point exactly.

I love to do things for and with my son. I have found out over time though that
the more I do, the more that's expected. I guess that's natural.

It's not that I don't want to "do Power Tour" with him. I would love to do it
with him in a car that I "helped him with" not in something I did for him while
making sure he had the best of everything.

Even a pieced together econo project is much more satisfying to the builder than
a
showpiece you didn't put any of your own sweat or money into.
