Kind of agree with you on this ... I happen to own a ;late 70's
vette (real late ..1979..stock L82
nice cruiser..but will not spin its wheels unless on gravel or ice)..does
just fine however on Sunday evenings going for Ice Cream with the wife...
Also own a 76 L48 vette....well I did drop some bucks into that
engine a few years ago...at least it now will lay rubber in all 4
gears......ok 4th is just a chirp......but it still makes me smile..(g)
Now speaking about econo-boxes... I inherited a 2000 FORD FUCKUS from my
mother and it is ugly
but gets a whopping 27 MPG ... I noticed yesterday that my average MPG
on my 95 Corvette for the
last ten tanks was 24.1 MPH... so much for economy...! give me the power!
