I have seen some cowl tags with numbers stamped into them from the top side,
instead of the bottom. This was obviously done after the cowl tag was
attached. Does anyone know why this was done, or what the different numbers
mean, if anything. One person even
stated his Chevelle was worth more due to these extra numbers, but had no
idea what they meant. I have seen this on several cowl tags, but have no
clue as to what they mean.
