Woo Hoo!! Ahh, theres nothing like that gut wrenching feeling of going to
hit your brakes and suddenly the pedal goes to the floor, I definatly know
where you are coming from. The conversion is quite simple from what I
understand (still havn't done it yet) but it is basically switch out your
distribution box (because your front and rear brakes require a different
amount of power at each end) and bolt on the new double reservior master
cylinder and bleed the brakes. The shop you went to probably just don't
know what they are talking about and just don't really want to go through
the trouble of messing with it, because it would take them every bit of 15
extra minutes. Did your son make it out ok when the brakes died? Hope so,
