I've had a recurring low speed miss with my TPI motor. After
changing other things (rotor/cap/plug wires) I swapped out the HEI
module & cured my problem. It was Labor Day & the only module I could
find was a $15.00 no name brand from Advanced Auto. I want to replace
it with something that I can have more confidence in.
The elky is a driver and I'm not sure how I should go. Locally an
AC Delco module is the same price as an Accel or MSD module thru Jegs or
Summit. Is there any point to having a "PERFORMANCE" module? I know
that much of the performance upgrade is at high RPM - and I doubt that
I'll ever go above 5500 rpm. I'm open for suggestions.
