Just wondering what the rest of you might think and what numbers you come up
with. I have a 1969 SS396 Chevelle with a 325 H/P 396 and it still has the
original MC1 3-speed stick on the floor. Has anyone ever driven one of
these? I am yet to drive the car since I have bought it and it's apart while
I am restoring it. The 2nd owner whom I bought it from said it drove great
and that it's a great transmission. I plan to drive it, but was wondering
what others thought of them. I have also estimated that there where
approximately 2700 69 SS396 Chevelles built with this transmission. What
numbers do you come up with?
Here are some pictures of "the Project" before I moved to Arkansas from San
Diego. It has the interior installed and I have had the Dash plastic
restored. I keep looking for NOS parts to buy instead of repros if I can.
