I am wanting to check the oiling of my engine because I have had some camshaft problems. When I prime the motor before I start it, will I see the oil coming throught the pushrods. I want to see if I have a blocked oil hole in one or more of the lifter bores. I was thinking about priming the motor before I put the intake manifold on so I can see how will the motor is oiling. Will I see the oil pumping to the top of the motor when I prime it. I am not sure if the oil will pass through the lifters when the lifters are not on the base circle of the camshaft which is when the lifters gets pumped back up.
Anyone know about this.
Keith
