Too bad the US didn't see fit to keep track of all the Chevelle related info...they could be making a fortune sending out the info to collectors and restorers......The last year they counted Super Sport Elkys was in 1978....12,027 of them [the "just stripes and wheels" models, yes, but they did have the same motor as the Z/28 (LM-1...170 hp) available].
