The Norton's software now quarantine's and deletes the new virus as of sometime after midnight this evening. I ran my Norton's around 12:35 this evening and it quarantined and deleted the affected files. And yes this is after I opened the file and set it free. Norton's software folks must be on the job 24 X 7. Thanks all.
