Ok guys you know that I bought my little more door for the fact that I would get some killer gas mileage out of that little 230 straight sic and the two speed Powerglide. I had a revelation one day while looking through an autotrader I saw an ad for a late model S10 with a 4.3 in it the whole truck was totaled but the people wanted $300 for it, so wheels started turning. How bad would it be to swap over that brand new 4.3 and overdrive tranny into that cute little 4 door? I love the 4.3 had one in a Blazer took a lickin and kept on kickin. Its just an idea I know I would have to screw around with the driveline and use that trucks computer and all that good junk to run the motor. It seems it could work, what do you guys think?
