I think that the problem is that the file is too big. In general, most email programs will not take attachment over 1.5m (15000kb). My email program was trying to receive mail all afternoon but keep failing. I think that your mail was the first one, so it was blocking the download of all other mail. Can you reduce the file size (must likely you will have to reduce the resolution of the scanned file) or you can convert the file to a "JPG" file. To reduce the resolution of a scan file, you would have to rescan the artilce. If you rescan the article, you should use 300-600 resolution. Converting the scanned file to a JPG might be easier.
