Has anyone ever taken their window sash
off and replaced the sash strip that holds the door glass in? I'm having one
heck of a time putting the sash back on. The new seal is like a
rubber/cork
on one side and a kind of material on
the other. I can get it started on one side but can't finish putting the rest of
the sash on. Which side goes against the glass? I'm trying to put the rubber
side against the glass as this seems to be the way the old one was. It was hard
to tell for sure as the old seal was deteriorated beyond recognition. There must
be a trick to this. Anyone know it. Thanks for any
suggestions.
