Tom,
Desert Valley is actually pretty
cool. They have all the Chevy cars in one area, then the Fords, then
Mopars (mostly old parts and rust), etc. I was a little disappointed
because there weren't very many of the cool muscle cars, just lotsa old
cars.
I remember back when I had my 67 Camaro,
down on Lower Buckeye there was a junkyard called Dagley's and it was nothing
but 1st and 2nd gen Camaros. Down the street from them there was a
junkyard with nothing but Chevelles, another one with all GTO's, a Mustang yard,
and a couple other model specific yards. They're all long gone today -
after I got my Elky I went down there searching and they had been replaced
with your typical boneyard. Oh well...
