Bob, I live in Tucson but am in Michigan right now, Phoenix does have quite a few cruze spots. They seem to be well attended with plenty of american muscle. You might also concider heading to Tucson, it might be closer. I know that there is cruzing every friday and saturday night on Speedway Bvld. you can get there right from I-10, you cant miss all the cars. The only problem is that the ricer movement is big in Tucson and if you even think of racing (it is tempting to whack a few rice grinders) the cops are all over you. The is occasional some good nights with american iron but expect to see a ton of buzz bombs. Maybe I will se you there, I will be back there the 24th and will be out a ton since I have been without any 4 wheeled fun for three mounths.
