oh i agree 100%. i have had many parts fit that i was told wouldn't work. but sometimes what looks right doesn't work. when i rebuilt a 67 Camaro i found the 68 doors i had wouldn't work. oh they fit up (67 has wing windows , 68 doesn't) but the hinges were completely different. i took a 68 2 DR hardtop chevelle door and made it work on an el camino. the book says it wont fit. i say if the shoe fits wear it!!!!
