I changed a black dash pad to tan. The most important thing is to
find a quality brand dye (SEM is good) and make sure that the vinyl is
clean...Wash several times with a good detergent. Any residue from
Armor-All etc will prevent the dye from a permanent bond. Also Be sure
to use whatever "Vinyl Prep" is available to clean & soften the vinyl.
I am very happy with my dash.... no peeling or fading evident after 4
years.
