here's the deal: My
partner, Kevin, at fendersandparts.com got the book from his AC/Delco dealer
for me. His family has been in the parts business for decades, and we pretty
much have access to whatever anybody else can get. Kevin simply never got into
this end of the business (restoration parts) even though he could have at any
time. So, together we make a pretty good team. Fries Auto
Parts (established 1929) - for "hard parts": starters, alternators,
whatever Fendersandparts.com
- for fender bender sheet metal & trim pieces 1950s to present Old Car
Network - for classic car restoration parts Anyway, I
sent the same post to the Olds list, and a NOS dealer who I know and love
(Everett Horton) replied that anybody could buy the book from the 888 number.
But do keep in mind that if you get it, not everybody in that book will sell to
the public, it doesn't guarantee you the best price even if they do, and just
because a part is not in the book, doesn't mean that there isn't a high-quality
