Jack, My 1966 ElCamino had leaks where you are describing. The were under the chrome on the windshield and rear window. The rubber material that holds the glass in had deteriorated and left small holes open where seams in the sheet metal were. A dab of silicone took care of it. Be sure you find all the holes.
