Kevin, It sounds like you must be in Northern Ohio somewhere. I'm in Lyndhurst, an eastern suburb of Cleveland. 1) I assume you mean the Summit branded parts in their catalog. I've used a bunch of them with no problems. I've used two different cams in my 400 and been very happy each time. I have a third waiting to be fired up, in a 350. I've also used various Summit HEI parts -- coil, cap/rotor, wires, and a couple of Summit transmission coolers. Everything has worked well so far. I considered their roller rockers, but I ended up buying a set of Crane's for my 400. I usually go to their store and have never had a problem dealing with them. 2) I raced at Norwalk once about 10 years ago at some "street car" event. The place was mobbed with people. It took me an hour just to get out once I decided to leave. I haven't been back there since. However, it's a first rate facility, owned/run by Bill Bader, who owns the IHRA. I prefer a less crowded place, so I usually race at Thompson Drag Raceway or Dragway 42. I live about 40 minutes (on a bad day) from Summit and have debated on using a lot of their parts on the rebuild of the 350. I know people that swear on Summit parts, others that swear because of Summit Parts. Thanks!
