Hi folks.........first off this is not a how do I install HEI thread rather a what do I need and what do you recommend thread. I saved all the installation stuff from previous posts........:) Anyhow .....the distributor on the motor currently is from the original 283 ( now on my 396) what I want to know is what all do I need to replace to go the HEI route ...distributor , ingnition coil ? ,plug wires 8mm ? ..........anything else ?
