You are absolutely right about spy ware. And the program you are talking about is called Ad-Ware. I have it and run it all the time. Pop - Stopper is not spy ware. I am very paranoid about someone accessing my computer from the internet. I also use cookie pal and Norton Security. Zone Alarm is a free firewall. Do you think this is spyware? It's free.
