SOmeone correct me if I'm wrong but I think on a points car, the tach lead goes to the negative side of the coil? I'd like to duplicate the factory installation as much as possible, so I'd like to run a wire from the "tach" terminal of my HEI to the harness connection on the firewall.  My problem is, I'm not sure which terminal in the harness connection it should be.  On a non-HEI car, where did the tach signal wire come from?  Was it from the coil (+) terminal?  If so, then I can tell by my wiring diagram which terminal it should be.
