Hello my name is Steve Chancellor and I have a 70 Chevelle. I it has a black vinale top and it is starting to rust under it. So what I was thinking is I would take the vivale off sand it down prime it and seal it until I am ready to get the car painted. And I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas or tips on how to go about that. The car is in pretty good shape but the last owner when he painted it he got a poor paint job. It is starting to peel and you can now start to see the old paint job under this one. He did not take it down he just painted over the top of the old paint.
