Nice Job Herb. I
didn't know we could post pictures here. Some list servers don't allow it
because it can blow up digests and some people have text-only mail readers. I guess I finally
know what those numbers mean. For some bizarre reason, I always thought the 40,
50, 60, etc. was the width and the 225 or whatever referred to the height. I
guess it always seemed to me that the lower the number (40, 50, 60, etc.) the wider the tire.
My Nova came w/ 78's and I put 60s on it, which were definitely wider. I'll get
it right some day. It's bizarre to me that these numbers are a mix of US and metric,
but it's certainly not the most bizarre thing I've ever heard of. John Nasta |
