Unprofessional !  That's your opinionio and that's great.  BUT I would be williing to BET that 90% of the floor's replaced are lap seam welded in.  where you cut the NEW pan to fit a few inches bigger then the rused area. You then lay it on top of the floor and spray paint  it outline on the floor and cut out the old floor leving about 1/2 to 3/4 lap  weld your new pan. . Wayne From: Kelly C. As long as the floor brace is not rusted it's not a big deal
