You may be able to buy an aftermarket fender for that price but I've never found anything aftermarket that was ready to paint by my standards. I've always had to put at least a couple of hours into them to make them right.

You didn't say if the fender was going to be painted for the $300. If it was the price isn't bad at all.

A friend of mine wanted to get a front quarter panel refinished, off of his 68 chevelle and the body shop wanted $300 to refinish it. You could buy an after market panel for that price!

I'm just curious to know how much you thought you were going to spend and what it ended up being. (this is open to anyone on the list)
