It's true. I've wondered several times in the past couple of months if my '69 Elky project might not end up being a waterloo for me in terms of whether or not I end up enjoying the car when I'm done depleting my bank account and missing so much time for other things because I'm working so much overtime to pay for it all. Right now it's too early to tell. There's still a lot to do after having spent about TWICE what I wanted to get the exterior in shape. The engine runs, but may need some freshening up soon. Then there's the tranny..., and the interior needs a few details... SO yes. Double or triple the amount of money you plan to spend, or double or triple the amount of time you think it'll take you to get it all the way you want. And you should probably do this even if you have the money.
